Dublin is an excellent tourist destination. Indeed, it is considered one of the top destinations in Europe. It's filled with wonderful things to see and do, whether you're seeking out a booming nightlife on Temple Bar or here for an activity-filled weekend.

As is common in major tourist centers, you will likely find that the hotels vary quite drastically in price to cater to a range of budgets. The price is not always an indication of the quality of the hotel though, there are good hotels in Dublin that are reasonably priced, but there are also bad hotels that cost a fortune. This leaves most people wondering how to choose the right hotel based on their needs.

Top-notch hotel
The Spencer Hotel
Be sure to ask for a room with a balcony and a river view for a first-class experience.
This marvelous hotel boasts a beautiful interior. The staff provide excellent service, the food is delicious, and the rooms are spacious. You'll need to walk along the River Liffey for about 10-15 minutes to reach the traditional tourist center, but I don't view this as a disadvantage.

The accommodations are comfy and the service is good. Suites are available for a larger space. If you really want to splurge, try the penthouse. The bedroom features blackout curtains to keep unwanted brightness at bay if you're trying to catch up on your sleep during the day.
The Spencer Hotel has its own health club, which features an 18-metre-long indoor heated swimming pool, it is practical for swimmers of all levels of skill. Also at the Spencer's health club, one can find a steam room and a sauna as well as a Jacuzzi.
