on Swissotel Tallinn

The Swissotel is a high-quality hotel found in the middle of Tallinn business district. The location is important not only for the convenience of reaching all the best attractions but also for the magnificent panoramic views afforded by the hotel rooms overlooking different parts of Tallinn and the Gulf of Finland. The hotel itself is not in an overcrowded spot, there are fewer tourists out here and you’ll be able to have a nice stroll in the modern part of Tallinn, but most guests will prefer to make the 10-minute walk to Old Town. If you're travelling with young children and need extra supplies, clothing, or toiletries, there are plenty of retail stores nearby selling high-quality brands to meet those needs. The spa area for hotel guests, Purovel Spa and Sport, is both comfortable and functional. There is a small fitness center on site, as well as a sauna and a small indoor pool. The Horisont Restaurant offers excellent food but as a result of its popularity with business travelers and the locals, it can be difficult to get a reservation. The Swiss café offers a smaller choice of dishes but is also very good. If all you need is a quiet place to drink some coffee and talk with business partners or colleagues, the lobby bar is an excellent venue.

Swissôtel Tallinn ranks among the best luxury hotels in Tallinn. In fact, it literally towers over its competition, from the tallest building in the entire town. With the airport only 10 minutes away by limousine, it offers the perfect location for a getaway, cutting down on travel time and letting guests enjoy more of their vacation.

The modern furnishings are a welcome change from the medieval environment of Old Town in Tallinn. The chic decor is very pleasing to the eye and makes the hotel a suitable option for major celebrations such as weddings and showers. Business conferences and product launches will also be at home here, with supporting facilities to match the needs of the organizers. Guests can take advantage of free admission to the in-house spa to kick back and relax after a long day of travel or sightseeing before retiring to their rooms to enjoy a magnificent view of the Old Town or the Gulf of Finland from their large picture windows.

The hotel's comfortable air-conditioned rooms offer both flat-screen cable TVs and free Wi-Fi for in-door entertainment, as well as modern furnishings. A safe deposit box, minibar, and all the usual luxury amenities one would expect to find in a hotel of the same rank are included in each guest room

A memorable experience

Swissôtel is the luxury hotel of choice for its great location and impeccable service standards. It can serve couples, families, and businesspeople alike, and guests leave with a memorable experience, promising to return again soon.

Guests with children in tow can opt for adjoining kids' rooms, which are styled especially for young ones; the hotel will even deliver milk and cookies to the room.

Foodies will enjoy the cuisine on offer within the hotel. The breakfast buffet provides a terrific range for the discerning palate and is a treat to behold, while smaller snacks can be enjoyed at the Café Swiss. As the evening draws to a close, visitors can have cocktails and dinner at the Horisont Restaurant & Bar, which offers a panoramic view of the town. The town itself provides many options for guests who want to experience all that Estonia has to offer, including a vibrant nightlife.

Reviews

Booking.com users have generally left favorable reviews of Swissotel Tallinn, awarding it an overall 9 out of 10 stars. This may come as a surprise for the more discerning guests. Reviewers typically mention the gym, pool, and quality of food as points in its favor, although one person rightfully acknowledged that the gym could stand to be larger. Guests also enjoy the view of the city and sea from the rooms, which only improves the pricier the rooms get. The location is also seen as a good base for getting around. Negative reviews tend to focus on the attitude of the staff, who seem to give more attention to their Facebook updates than to visitors. This is often a common complaint for hotels that employ young hospitality workers. There are also a few reviews that praise the staff, especially the cleaning crew, so it's not all bad. The hotel features generally high quality facilities, kept in good condition, leading many guests to praise the beds, pillows, bathrooms, working area, style, and decor.

Anne from Amsterdam, who kept her surname private, runs a travel website that features a review of her stay at Swissotel. She enjoyed her stay, noting that the location was perfect, the staff were friendly, and the service was excellent. A photo from the sauna is included with the review, as seen in this link. The window in the Swissotel sauna is one of its best features.

Luxurytravelmagazine made note of Swissotel Tallinn winning Estonia's Leading Hotel award. The globally recognized World Travel Awards results were based on an independent vote by 185,000 travel agents and tourism professionals from more than 200 countries.

This five out of five stars review of Swissotel at Reijosfood.com features some authentic photos of the Swiss Executive room, which the reviewer thought was quite spacious and stylish. There are also photos of the public spaces. The reviewer makes the claim that guests may enjoy spending their entire vacation within the hotel, moving between the spa, room, cafe, gym, restaurant, and bar. The view from the large windows allows people to claim they had also been sightseeing.

Another complimentary review of Swissotel was written by Adam from PointMeToThePlane, who noted he was visiting Estonia for the third time and was very happy with the hotel. He stayed in the Swiss Executive Room, which along with the bathroom he found to be very modern and comfortable. He said he liked the location and was impressed with the hotel's proximity to a convenient grocery store. On his website are photos of the snacks served in the Executive Lounge.

Damian of Upgrd.com wrote an interesting review that features numerous photos of the hotel and breakfast buffet. These are interesting since there aren't too many of them being displayed on social media.

Last but not least, Anna Keski-Kohtamäki from Helsinki posted some pictures of Tallinn hotels, including Swissotel, on her popular travel blog.
